The Comprehensive Neuropathy Treatment Center follows:

Comprehensive Neuropathy Treatment Center
Opens in Roswell, Sandy Springs
Innovative, natural approach to treatment available

January 19, 2015
Locally owned and operated Foundation Therapy Center announced today that it has opened The Comprehensive Neuropathy Treatment Center at both its Roswell and Sandy Springs, GA locations. This Center offers a ground-breaking, multidisciplinary, natural approach to neuropathy treatment.

"Margaret Schulte, our certified Neurological Physical Therapist, has developed specialized protocols to treat clients who suffer from neuropathy, which affects the motor and sensory nerves, and we fully evaluate each client to determine the individual's needs and protocols," said Beverly Stegman, Administrator of Foundation Therapy Center. "With this innovative approach, we can effectively treat the painful symptoms of neuropathy in the feet, hands, arms and legs." Stegman explained that these symptoms include a tingling and prickling sensation ("pins and needles"), a burning sensation, and stabbing pains which patients describe as electric like-pain, and can progress without treatment to muscle weakness, coordination problems, muscle paralysis, and increased susceptibility to foot ulcers and skin infections.

"Individuals suffering from neuropathy who have not found relief from more traditional and invasive types of treatment, and/or who do not want the potential side effects of medication, could benefit greatly from The Comprehensive Neuropathy Treatment Center's natural approach to treatment," said Stegman.

Stegman said the Center makes available specialized protocols which may include physical therapy, orthopedic therapy, balance rehabilitation and fall prevention, pain management treatment, reflexology with use of medical grade essential oils, and yoga for medical conditions and overall health and wellness. The Center also offers complimentary screenings, clinics and lectures/demonstrations, which are available to the community at large.

"The goals and proven results of our specialized protocols include decreased pain, increased sensation, improved circulation, restoration of balance, improved mobility, increased strength, improved range of motion, and decreased risk of falls," said Stegman.

The Comprehensive Neuropathy Treatment Centers are housed within both Foundation Therapy locations, which according to Stegman, "has been offering exceptional care and results since 2001, incorporating both traditional outpatient therapy and holistic healing services." She says that most treatment is covered by traditional medical insurance.
